Doug loves to feed “his ducks" at the Broad Ripple Canal and wants to be at "ool" (day program) every day. The coveted "Doug hug" is his highest and purest form of gratitude and affection. While Doug may not actually interact with his peers, he revels in their presence. Doug’s parents say that he is patiently training the world to his way of life one person at a time.
“Doug’s IPMG case manager has been a key team member in helping him build a meaningful and enjoyable life beyond that which he had with us in our home.” -Doug’s parents
