Meet Olando!
Olando Nicks was officially accepted as the first Erskine Green Training Institute student. Representatives had the honor of hand delivering his acceptance packet!
The Erskine Green Training Institute is a one-of-a-kind postsecondary program and lab. The Institute provides vocational training for a variety of jobs in the hotel, food service, and healthcare environments. It, along with its attached 150-room Courtyard Muncie at Horizon Convention Center hotel, is an immersive learning environment.
For ten weeks, Olando will be a student in the Institute's Heart of the House program, where he will learn a variety of skills that will enable him to begin a career as a hotel housekeeper. Olando is extremely excited to get started on his journey toward his career in January 2016!
