Say hello to Nickie...

Nickie discovered her love for cake decorating after taking cooking classes about a year ago. She is an avid fan of the show "Cake Boss," so she decided to try her hand at decorating. Nickie's first two cakes were a hit -- she made a "Superman" and a "Bat Man" cake for her two nephews. Since then, Nickie has had requests to make more cakes for others. She was recently asked to bake and decorate the cake for the Annual Open House for DSI (Developmental Services, Inc.) She also had her cake (pictured) on display at the local library in Greensburg. She decorated that cake with the Dare to Dream theme for Disability Awareness Month. Nickie's talent for baking and her artistic ability have both played a role in her success. Nickie loves to sketch drawings in her free time. She is now receiving cake orders for graduations and other events, which allows her to earn money doing something she loves!
