Employee Owner of the Month: June

Jun 01, 2020

Introducing IPMG's Employee Owner of the Month of June: Beth Peabody!

Beth Peabody was nominated for this award by the mother of an Individual that Beth serves. In her nomination the mother stated, "According to a general definition of a case manager, Beth goes over and above the call of duty to help me to navigate through difficult situations with advice and ways to figure out the best course of action for our challenges. She's always proactively seeking out the services that we need, and is very hands on in creating plans for success for my son's future. She is always professional and often sends sweet notes and words of encouragement to boost my son's confidence. She's always very personable and although I'm sure she's got an overwhelming caseload she makes our family feel like we're her only clients with her care and concern. I have watched the newsletter month after month in hopes to see my favorite case manager in the spotlight. She's phenomenal and I can't believe that I'm the only person that feels that way. She deserves great honor for her job well done, so I've decided to praise her myself! Way to go Beth!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"

Beth writes, "I feel very honored to be nominated as Case manager of the month, especially by a parent who I feel should receive special recognition herself for advocating on behalf of her son to ensure that he obtains the supports and services he needs to not only succeed, but thrive. I feel very blessed to work with individuals and families such as this family who are so dedicated to the success of those they love. I am humbled day in and day out by the selfless commitment of these family and team members. My dedication and efforts are only a reflection of their own commitment and the commitment we have made as a team."

"Prior to starting my career as a Case Manager with IPMG in 2016, I held several positions including service coordinator for a waiver provider, as a Case Manager with a children’s and parental support program, and as a field rep at a local hospital assisting self-pay patients in obtaining Medicaid coverage. I also worked as an independent licensed massage and bodywork therapist while attending college at Purdue University and The University of North Carolina- Asheville where I studied computer graphics, professional writing and obtained degrees in Medical Assisting, and Psychology. I am a lifelong learner, and always will be. I am happy to have found a career that allows me to feed my need for learning and creativity as I work with individuals, families and teams to develop and implement plans which allow those I support to reach their life goals."

"My husband, daughter and I moved to southern Indiana from North Carolina in 2013. We enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking as well as planning and taking trips and other adventures. I am an avid reader and enjoy spending time at home with my family. I truly enjoy working as an employee-owner of IPMG and appreciate all of the support and encouragement I have received while working here. I could not imagine a better fit for me."
