Employee Owner of the Month: May

Shannon Heineman was nominated for this award by the mother of an Individual that Shannon serves. In her nomination the mother stated, “Tommy is so comfortable with her. You know, there's the good, the bad and the ugly and Shannon has no judgement. We appreciate that so much. She has tried to enter Tommy's world and Tommy loves her too. Not everyone tries to reach out to him, even when they should. He is endeared to Shannon. She has a knack for people and our whole family loves her!”

Shannon writes, “What a true honor it is to be nominated as Case Manager of the Month for IPMG! This is beyond humbling! 17 years ago, I began this journey working as a DSP and a team leader. I worked on my bachelor’s degree to move into a QIDP role. After spending time as a QIDP and attending meetings that were facilitated by IPMG Case Managers, I knew in my heart that IPMG was right for me. I am personally touched by the support that IPMG gives back to not only Case Managers but also to the individuals we serve. I am also touched by the families and teams that I am able to be a part of each day. I am very blessed that the families in which I serve choose me as their Case Manager. I am also blessed to be on such a supportive team and to have a great Manager here at IPMG!”

“I have lived in White County, Indiana almost my entire life. My family and I love to spend our summer out on the lake riding our wave runner and spending time at the Little League field. We also love to go to Wrigley and watch the Cubs. Go Cubs Go!! My oldest daughter, Madison will graduate in 2021 so we are preparing for that transition into her adulthood! Being a Case Manager has taught me how to prepare for the transition into adulthood with the development of the PCISP.
