Introducing IPMG's Employee Owner of the Month of April: Kristina Baynard!
Kristina was nominated for this award by the family of an Individual she served. The nomination stated, ""Kristina was Derrick's Case Manager, till a couple month's ago. She has been exceptional in helping me get the best of his services. She was his 4 or 5th case manager, and we had been through 3 provider companies, one of which just didn't know how to manage the management. They thought the families needed to do all the work, and them get paid for doing it. From what I understand they are still thinking this is so. Know Derrick is with a company that works to help get what he needs, but we still have no providers for most of his hours. But Kristina always helped me work to get the person in charge of his program to work to get the best program. No matter the problems. We worked great as a team. Derrick always knew he could ask the questions and get answers. We had a great relationship. I'm glad she is still working with the company in a higher up position but we sure hated losing her."
Kristina writes, "I am truly honored to be nominated from a guardian and individual that I have served for many years. The work a case manager does is solely for the benefit of the people and their families and done so with genuine passion and care for their wellbeing. I am humbled to receive the recognition but even more blessed to be a part of their journey through life.
My initial career path following college was to serve others as a LCSW. However, in 2014, I began serving in this field as a service coordinator for a waiver provider in Terre Haute and realized this was where I was meant to be. My family and I moved to Lafayette when I was entrusted with overseeing the regional office as Director. I served as Regional Director for 2 years before moving into case management.
Working with IPMG is truly a blessing. Working alongside such great people sharing the same passion to help others in an environment of love and support is like nothing I have experienced in my career thus far. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to provide tools and knowledge and help others as a case manager, and now the ability to aid other CMs, as a supervisor, reach their potential."
Congratulations, Kristina! We are so blessed to have you on our team!
