Jan 17, 2024

Meet Jennifer Hauber

Congrats to Case Manager Jennifer Hauber, our January 2024 Employee-Owner of the Month! Jennifer's nominator wrote in to let us know how grateful they have been for her support:

"We have had the privilege to have Jennifer Hauber as our case manager for over a decade and she has always been readily available to assist us any way she can. She has been more than a case manager and we can say 'she is one of the family.' Jennifer is not only extremely knowledgeable but also reliable and keeps our plan functioning like clockwork. She also has a very welcoming personality and understands our needs. She keeps things professional with a friendly approach to make sure all our goals are met, and we are successful because of her hard work!"

Congrats, Jennifer! We are grateful for you and all our hardworking and dedicated Employee-Owners!

What inspired you to become a Case Manager?

My mother inspired me as she worked in this field for her whole career. She showed me how to work with people where they are at and do everything that she could to move them to the next steps in life. It was through her that I learned a lot. I was taken to events as a younger child that her agency would have and I would help out. I learned some sign language from a young lady; now, all that she knew were curse words, so the 10-year-old in me learned some new signs! This sparked my interest in working with people.

What do you love about being an IPMG Employee-Owner/Case Manager?

I am thankful for the management team that I have currently. They are interested in their teams’ lives and show the extra support if needed. I also love working with the IPMG participants who choose to work with me. I don’t just see them as participants, but as my “bosses” and will frequently call them by that title. It lets the “boss” know that they are important to me and to IPMG!

Tell us about yourself and your hobbies and interests.

I have two adult children who are attending college, they left a quiet house for me so I have filled that with other activities such as spending time with friends, helping out the local high schools with their sporting events and helping out extended family members with what ever needs might come up.
