Professional Background

I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Health Services. My early career in the healthcare sector provided me with a diverse range of experiences across various roles, deepening my understanding of health services and client relations. In these positions, I managed employee relations and accounting, which equipped me with a unique perspective on organizational dynamics. I developed a strong foundation in human resources, ultimately discovering my passion for HR while collaborating closely with the executive director and leadership team.
In 2019, I transitioned to IPMG as an HR Generalist, where I expanded my knowledge and expertise in human resources, ultimately earning my certification as a SHRM Certified Professional. My dedication and commitment to the field have led me to my current role as Director of Human Resources.

Responsibilities

I am responsible for leading the Human Resources team and making sure the objectives of the department support the strategic initiatives of IPMG. I oversee the Human Resources department including employee engagement, relations, and retention, benefits administration, upholding company policies and procedures, as well as staying up to date with employment law and regulations.
